Giving Tuesday

Today is Giving Tuesday, a perfect time for me to teach Annie the importance of being charitable. So Annie and I will be celebrating my taking some of our holiday spending money and donating to one of our fave charities – Best Friends Animal Society.  Since we love kitties and have so many fab kitty friends, we decided to sponsor two kitty sisters – Faith and Martha. Sisters sponsoring sisters!  Annie learned that it feel just as good to give as it does to receive.

Our Thanksgiving Feast

Dear world,
The big Joe's Stone Crab box from Miami Beach was delivered for our family's unique Thanksgiving meal tradition. But we prefer turkey, so Mommy made us our ground turkey legs (now she can tell everyone she cooked turkey!). Anyway, we sat down to our meal and I proceeded to bark about about all the things I am thankful for. And not only could Annie  not wait to eat till I was finished barking, but then Bunnybell grabbed the turkey leg off my plate ! Am I the only one with manners?

Happy Thanksgiving !

Dear world,
Annie and I want to wish all of America a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for so many things -- each other, our forever Mommy & Daddy, and getting to live in a wonderful home in beautiful San Diego. Annie is also very thankful for her toys and treats and I for being so spoiled and pampered. I hope next year or sooner we can be all be thankful for peace in the world.

Thanksgiving treats

Dear world,

One of the things I teach in Princess School is to be a good guest as well as fab hostess. So I explained to Annie it would be nice to get some Pup Treats that we could bring to someone’s house or serve to guests at our house.  And it is always nice to have a themed gift for the holidays. So we went to the fab Three Dog Bakery and selected a yummy Thanksgiving assortment. I took the treats out and showed Annie how to display them. But the second I turned away, she immediately bit into the turkey leg! Will Annie ever learn to be a Princess?

Beach Tent

Dear world,
The other day Annie was mesmerized by a tent on the beach. She thought it was so cool that you could camp out on our beach. I explained to her that it was only being used for shade for the day. But Annie was still captivated by the idea. Now she wants to have a sleepover on the beach. I told her maybe someday (in her dreams!)

Mall walk

Dear world,
The other day when we walked through Beverly Center Mall. First, I saw a big red dog house. Odd. Next I saw a dog hanging with mannequins, but it was way too big for the little house. Weird. I started wondering if I was seeing things. So I decided to go to the glasses department and get my eyes checked.

Small Dog Meet-up

Dear world,
A few weeks ago I went with Mommy to meet-up with a bunch of small dogs at the Dog House Bar and Grill. We didn't bring Annie because we were not sure she could pass for a small dog (I have been warning her she needs to stop eating seconds at dinner! ) Anyway, there were so many types and sizes of pups. I enjoyed treats on the ground with most of the others. But there were some pups that obviously preferred the drinks on the table ! My fave pup that I met was Shadow, who literally looked like my shadow! What a fab day. Maybe I will bring Annie next time.

Rosy Day at the Beach

Dear world,
After my party on Rosy Day, Annie and Bunnybell and I went to the beach. While we were doing our photoshoot, we almost had a photobomb. But Annie and Bunnybell scared the dog away, and we got the perfect shot. Then as a Rosy Day activity we asked our friends to play Ring around the Rosy. What a fab beach day!

Its Chicken Soup for the Soul Day. Annie suggested we read a Chicken Soup for the Soul Day book about Dogs. I said I would be glad to participate in that inspirational activity. However, I will later celebrate by dining on one of my absolute faves- Chicken (noodle) soup !

Annie heard that today is National Vanilla Cupcake Day, so of course that peaked her interest. She was about to enjoy Daddy's treat, but I told her that since she is a dog, she can't have cupcakes, she can only eat Pupcakes. So she assumed that meant she had to wait for National Vanilla Pupcake Day, whenever that is.

Rosy Day Party

Dear world,
I had the most fab Rosy Day party. Bunnybell came over and we had my delicious pink Rosy Day cake. I wore my new sparkly party dress while Annie and Bunnybell attended naked. There were so many presents that I invited Bunnybell and Annie to open them with me. However, Annie didnt understand why she couldnt have the toy horse, while Bunnybell tried to claim my food presents.
Now I know what to get each of them for Christmas!

Happy Rosy Day!

Five years ago today, Mommy found me on Rose Street in Memphis. I obviously had not had a spa day in forever, so she didn't even know I was a poodle! But she and Daddy fell in love with me instantly of course, and that is the day I became Princess Rosy. So I have proclaimed November 6th Rosy Day. It is a very happy day for my family as we celebrate how lucky they are for finding me!

Police Headquarters

Dear world,
After the dog park, we went to have lunch by the harbor. Unbenownst to us, the restaurant was at the Old Police Headquarters !!! And there we were, dressed as police!!!  So we went to see the old jail and I suggested we take Daddy prisoner for a photoshoot. But then Daddy bribed Annie with a cookie and she let him out. So much for a career in law enforcement for Annie.

Dog Park Police

Dear world,
Well, our decision was to be Cops for Halloween. We went to a dog park that was having a costume contest. They took pictures of all of us in costumes and will announce the winner today on their website. Then everyone took their costumes off except us. And Annie took being a cop very seriously, she adamantly stood her post as Park Police, until she got a whiff of a hot dog.
