Yosemite: Glacier Point

Our final stop was Glacier Point - an overlook with a breathtaking view of Yosemite.  I posed as several people wanted to take pictures of me in front of this panoramic view.  Once they were done, I thought I would try a selfie. That ended up to be my favorite shot of the trip!

  3. Wow, that's awesome! Can you share with us Rosie, where you are staying and where in Yosemite is the best place to go for dogs? I was going to go there once but read a lot of things that said dogs were basically shunned in Yosemite and you seem to have proven that wrong! You already gave me the best spa to go to (Ojai) so I'm sure you can give great recommendations for Yosemite too!

    1. We stayed at Tenaya Lodge, just outside the park. REALLY dog friendly and pretty. Lots of dogs of all sizes at the lodge. And pretty patios for meals where we could be with M&D. Dogs aren't allowed to stay overnight in the Park lodging. And the Awahanee was really rude to us-- we couldn't even have lunch there outside! But the rest of the park is dog friendly -- just follow the rules about the trails. And no shuttle bus for dogs. We loved it! Please tell them we sent you! BearHUGs & RosyPoodleKisses!

    2. PS -- It is a bit pricey for what it is, but maybe because of the season. Still a great place to stay with dogs!

  4. Rosy, you're very brave to be up so high in the mountains. Was it scary at all? The close up almost looks like you're in the Himalayas...uh oh...that might give your Mom and Dad an idea to take you there next!

    1. It wasn't scary, just a bit tiring. But Daddy would carry me if I got tired, so no problem! Himalayas? I wish they would consider Paris! Imagine the view from the Eiffel Tower! BearHUGs & RosyPoodleKisses!
