Beach hound

Dear world,
The other day at the beach, an Italian Greyhound started eyeing Annie. Then he pranced over to her and said "Buongiorno amore mio" and kissed her! That is when I stepped in to protect my dog. I told Mr. Greyhound that he is being very fresh. And the next thing I knew he started chasing me and his brother moved in on Annie! Sometimes it is so hard to be beautiful beach babes!

Old Town Comida

Yesterday we made an unplanned visit to Old Town San Diego. I felt so unprepared without my sombrero. Anyway, we went to Fred's of course since they love dogs and even have a Canine Comida menu. 

Annie couldn't make up her mind whether to have the Moke Burger or the Cannoli's Cutlets. So we ordered both. Yummy! Unfortunately, Daddy would not let me order a Margrrrita.

Duck boss

Dear world,
One of my fave things to do on my walk around the lake is to boss all the ducks around. I bark at them to stay in the water where they belong. So the other day when I came home, I found the ducks in my pool! That is not the water I meant!

Paint decision

Dear world,
The other day while I was taking a nap with Daddy, Annie went to Home Depot with Mommy to pick out paint for the bathroom. Annie tried to help Mommy by color matching her fur. They came home with lots of colors. So I, with my keen blue eyes for fabulous style, had to help them decide on the color. I suggested the one that looked the most pink of course!

Dear world,

Yesterday at the beach, I tried convincing Annie to come in the water with me but she wanted nothing to do with getting wet.  So I teased the waves and they did keep catching me bit. I had so much fun. That is until I realized how I looked and was aghast at my wet dirty self.

Toy Baskets

Dear world,
The other day we told Mommy that we needed another basket for our toys. She said no more baskets. So I suggested to Annie that we select toys to donate so we have more room in our baskets. I explained that many dogs don't have any toys and would really appreciate it. She said she loved all her toys so she suggested we keep our toys and buy the other dogs new toys.

Paddle boating

Dear world,
The other day I decided it would be fab to go on a paddleboat. So I stepped on and asked Annie to come over and paddle for me with her big paws. But she was scared of coming on the boat. So I looked around and there were no paddle helpers. Next time I will wait for Daddy.

Pool float

Dear world,
Last week it was so warm that I decided I should enjoy the pool. But I really liked the way my curls looked so I didn't want to chance getting them wet. So I grabbed my float to soak up some rays. And of course I never forget to protect my blue Princess eyes.

Beach Easter Eggs

We went to the beach for our Easter egg hunt. I explained the two rules to Annie and Bunnybell. Rule #1: Collect as many eggs as you can find, and then we will give them to Mommy for treats. Rule #2: Do not by any means touch the Disney Princess eggs. Those belong in my Princess basket.

Dear world,
 I got Annie a shirt for our Easter Egg hunt. She was somewhat interested in collecting eggs, but she was a real master at finding bunnies. I guess next year I will get her a Toy Hunter shirt.
