The other day on our walk we came across a beautiful field of flowers and we got to frolic through it. So I thought I should take a moment to stop and smell a flower. It would have been so nice except it ended up being the flower that Annie just peed on.

Kitchen Shopping

Dear world,
Continuing with my home improvement series, next up was kitchen shopping. Mommy and Daddy were looking to replace the cook top - an important item to Annie and I. We saw so many kitchen things, but no food! So I wandered off to the tikki BBQ area hoping to be served some steak (no luck). Annie headed off to the bathroom aisles. I think she had that on her mind since she was wearing her diaper. (Annie has a little problem lately but it's getting better. And she doesn't mind since I chose fashionable pink gingham diapers.)

Love Your Pet Day

Dear world,
Today is Love Your Pet Day. Mommy doesn't understand the concept since she said we are extraordinarily loved everyday. I told her the same is true for Mother's Day but we do celebrate that day.  So I would really hope that she and Daddy recognize today and send me my fave flowers!

It's Mardi Gras !

Dear world,

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

Dear world,
This past week we stayed at the wonderful Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.  We got to stroll the beautiful gardens and we even tried our paws at croquet! And I just loved that there were so many perfectly fab spots for pictures. It is so nice to bring Annie to a place that is so dog friendly as well as fit for a princess like me.

Valentine photo shoot

Dear world,
Yesterday, I was trying to do a photoshoot for a Valentine's card for Daddy. I arranged all the beautiful pink flowers on the seat under the pink flowering tree. Then I changed into my fab pink flower dress and was ready for my pics. And then Annie jumped up on the bench and smushed my flowers! She thought they made a great pillow. Finally, I convinced her to jump down so I could get the perfect pose!

Follow the Leader

Dear world,
Yesterday we were at the beach and Annie wanted to try out what I have been teaching her in leadership class at Princess school. She barked to our friends to follow her in black and light order. I tested her at first by not listening, but she barked out the command again. And there we were in line, following her lead. I am so proud of Annie.

Groundhog Day

Today I needed to explain Groundhog Day to Annie. So I told her to imagine she was in a hole and when she came out and saw her shadow, everyone would be sad because it meant 6 more weeks of winter. But if she came out and didn't see her shadow, everyone would be happy because Springtime would start sooner. Then she wanted to know what winter was. (I forgot that as a San Diego dog she doesn't get the season thing).

Dear world,
We are all ready for Superbowl ! Annie is barking for the Patriots since her fave color is red. I think I look best in green, so I am barking for the Seahawks. When Bunnybell chose blue, I told her she needs to pick which team to bark for since both have blue. She said she will bark for whatever team fans have the most food !
