This Labor Day weekend, I thought
it would be appropriate to honor the Rosies. Rosie the Riveter, a cultural icon, was the major symbol of the millions of women who joined the workforce during World War II. The Rosie's "We Can Do It!" sense of determination paved the way for greater gains for women throughout society in the decades ahead. I am so proud
of having the name Rosy (don't know why Mommy spelled it wrong). And I said it was ok
for Annie to be an honorary Rosie since she works hard with me to help protect
our family.
Cheers to the Rosies!
