Mommy and Daddy brought me Pete from their visit to the President Truman Library and Museum in Independence, Missouri. They told me Pete was the White House grounds pet squirrel, described by newsmen as their "reliable source close to the White House". Pete often accompanied President Truman on his daily walks. Wow! Pete must be so old! I will be a good girl and not chew his eyes and nose.

Annie, your new friend Pete, Is very cute. I think he might be using too much white hair toner because it has a purple tint. Maybe you could advise him to "tone" it down a bit, lol. I'm glad Pete's keeping up appearances though.

DeleteI agree, it's very nice of you to not chew his face off! Mama says it's interesting that there was a white house pet squirrel! I'm pretty sure if we had a squirrel I'd have to chase it. I don't think I could control myself :( You have such a comfy bed, Annie, and it matches your furs!
