A to Z Challenge

Dear world,
I read my friend Miss Harper Lee's blog and saw that she was taking a blogging challenge.  It sounded very interesting so I thought I would try my paws at it.  It is called Blogging from A to Z Challenge. I figured if my sister Sydne can do A to Z Fashion Trends ,  I could try being inspired by the alphabet too!
So I will be very busy. The challenge requires me to blog about a letter everyday except Sunday. Over 2000 bloggers have signed up, I am number 2065.

Pete the Squirrel

Dear world,
Mommy and Daddy brought me Pete from their visit to the President Truman Library and Museum in Independence, Missouri. They told me Pete was the White House grounds pet squirrel, described by newsmen as their "reliable source close to the White House". Pete often accompanied President Truman on his daily walks. Wow! Pete must be so old! I will be a good girl and not chew his eyes and nose.

Waffle Day

Dear world,
Annie found out that it was International Waffle Day. So she asked if we could make waffles to celebrate. Mommy agreed but said she has to wait until they are ready for all of us to eat. And there was yet another lesson for Annie in patience.

Today is our awe-inspiring sister Sydne’s birthday. Special K

Every morning Mommy eats Special-K while Annie and I are provided with a dog's breakfast. So very often, I refuse my breakfast and tell Annie to help herself. Then Mommy feels bad so she gives me my own bowl of cereal softened with a little milk. I just love my Special-K. I don't know why Mommy doesn't just have me join her every morning. After all I am the Special Kanine Princess.

For St. Patricks Day, I thought we would celebrate with fancy hats. I picked out one for Annie that was  for a boy, but styled with beads added a perfect feminine flair. Pi Day

Dear word,
Annie barked since it is Pi Day we needed to get a pizza.. I explained to her it is not Pie Day as in Pizza, it is Pi Day as in Mathematics. She pointed out that our local restaurant is called Urban Pi , so we can celebrate with them. Well, I guess she has a point. And as Bear's sister, I would never refuse pizza.

Dear world,
Today is Girl Scouts Day. So Annie and I barked about how fab it would be to be Girl Scouts. I imagined all the different activities and pretty badges. I would of course try for all those having to do with Fashion. Annie on the other paw could only think about all the cookies. So of course I would have to be in charge of the cookie sales.

Ricky, the Standard Poodle won Best in Show at Crufts, the world's largest dog show held in England. I just swoon when I see his picture. I think there should be a magazine that would feature his fabulousness. And of course, I would let them do a feature story about me and my dog!

Dream house

Dear world,
The other day we went visiting. While the humans went inside the big house, Annie and I went exploring the yard. Annie called me over to see a barn that was just her size which was well suited for her. And then I saw it --- a pink and yellow princess house in just my mansion size.  So now it is my official dream house.

Mardi Gras

Dear world,
Annie asked me what Fat Tuesday is. So I told her that today was  a fabulous day. First, I prefer to call  today Mardi Gras which is what it is called in French..  I barked all about the wonderful traditions of Mardi Gras, especially the fab attire and beads. Annie was especially interested in the King Cake. So I told her she can have cake, but I want the piece with the baby inside because I should be Queen of the party!
