The other day at the beach we saw two Japanese Chin dogs that looked nice. Annie went over and said Konnichiwa. I said Annie, we want to make friends so don't bark nonsense. She said that is how you say hello in Japanese. I asked her how she knew that. She reminded me that I had her apply for a job as a Japanese waitress so she had to learn some basic woofs.

How cute! Annie's so smart. It looks like you guys are having a big pow wow. Were you discussing world events? :)

ReplyDeleteGood thinking - she'll make a great Japanese waitress too.
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun meeting new friends. You & Annie look so welcoming to them. They must have felt comfortable with you since Annie said hello in Japanese.

I love making new friends, especially if they are from other places. I'm afraid I don't know much Japanese, but I'd be fine if I met a German Shorthaired Pointer! xoxo
