New Year's Eve

Dear world,
Well its time for yet another party! I got Annie and I all ready for New Year's Eve.  Annie was a bit hesitant about the headgear. She barked that it felt like she had a swan on her head (and you know how she feels about swans).  But I convinced her that we looked fabulous. I really hope she can stay awake till midnight this year!

A new book club

Last weekend, we got to meet our wonderful blogger friend, Sugar.  We had a beautiful stroll with our Mommys and Daddys along the cove in La Jolla. 

Then we got to chat among just us girls and we decided we should form a book club.

Christmas Fun

Dear world,
Christmas was so fab ! First of course we got to open our presents. Annie now needs another toy basket and I need my own armoire more than ever! Then we went to the beach and met and played with big distant relatives. So fun! When  we came home I agreed to humor Mommy and became a floating Christmaspoo tree. Where does Mommy come up with these ideas?

Annie's Party

Dear world,

I threw such a fab party for Annie's Gotcha Day. I chose Anna from Frozen for the theme, since Annie came from Santa Ana which was the inspiration for her name. I had Mommy make the cake. She created a masterpiece, with Annie's fave foods- turkey and beef burgers with bacon puree frosting. Annie had three helpings! I thought I would save my piece for tomorrow since I don't like to overeat.

Gotcha Day !

Dear world,
Today is my Gotcha Day so I wanted to do the blogpost. Two years ago I was in the Orange County shelter. Mommy came to my cage and said she promised that she would be my forever Mommy. Then she and my forever Daddy brought me to my forever home. Since that day, I have been so happy and feel safe, surrounded by lots of love and lots of toys. I hope all the animals that are in shelters will  get to celebrate their gotcha days real soon.

Dear world,

Happy Hanukkah !

Dear world,
Tonight was the first night of Hanukkah. I was so excited to light my little menorah (Mommy thought I should have my own since I have my own little tree). Annie was so excited for the latkes. Tomorrow we will try playing a game of dreidel. Instead of coins, we will play for hot dogs.

Swan Lake III

We went to Swan Lake again. This time I wanted to show Annie that we can all coexist in peace. So I went over near the swans' area and they immediately started hissing. Annie barked for me to attack, but I said no. I was not intimidated, this is my park too! So I decided I would make my mark. Mr. Swan was very surprised, and told me I was a cool poo. Then he asked me to make sure to keep my dog on a leash.

Faux Santa picture

Dear world,
Last weekend we went to Petsmart for our annual pictures with Santa but we couldn't find Santa in the store. So the Petsmart person explained to us, that they have a backdrop and take the picture and put Santa in it. What? Well, we were terribly disappointed since we have been such good girls and had our lists ready. But we posed for a few pictures and then they sent a blank photo to us! Do you think this is because last year Annie pulled Santa's beard off?

Dear world,
I decided I could use some help with my social media activity. First I asked Bunnybell, but no matter how loud I barked, she just didn't want to listen to me. So then I asked Annie to lend a paw and help with the calendar. But at that very moment Annie suggested to Bunnybell that it was time for a nap! I guess I will just have to go back to doing everything myself. Poo.

Pink Tree

Dear world,
Annie was very sad the other day when we put up the tree. She was confused since it wasn't big and green. I explained to her that this was only my personal contribution to the holiday decor this year. I always wanted a pink tree and Mommy and Daddy finally let me have one! So Annie felt better that there will be a big green tree. However, now Bunnybell is going to ask her Mommy Sydne for a lavender tree!

Fitness Shopping

Dear world,
Last week we went shopping with Mommy and Daddy to buy fitness equipment. What an interesting store! I perused the weights and found perfectly pink ones for Mommy.  And then looking around at all the machines, I realized that it is a lot of work to walk, run, bike, row or climb, and you never reach a destination! I would much rather get my cardio prancing on the beach chasing birds.

Thanksgiving Feast

Happy Thanksgiving

Dear world,
Today is the day where we bark out loud how thankful we are. We are both thankful Mommy and Daddy adopted us and we are very loved (and a bit spoiled). I am also very grateful I get to live the fab spoiled life of a self-proclaimed Princess. Annie barked that she is extra thankful that she feels good, is enjoying life and for all the yummy meals she gets. She also barked that she is not thankful for the headgear I insisted she wear today.

Swan Lake II

The other day we went to Swan Lake (that is what we have named it). And not only did we see Mr. Swan, but he was with some of his swan pals. So we ran over, I thought to say hi and make new friends.

 Annie, however, had a different idea and scared them away. Oh well. I guess it she will always be a sporting dog, no matter how many Princess lessons I give her!

Yesterday was my first official Driver's Ed lesson. I am very lucky that Daddy was willing to by my instructor. I think I got the hang of it. Now I need a car. I would like a pink mini Mini convertible. I will put it on my Holiday wish list.

Bathroom Walk of Fame

Dear world,
The bathroom is being renovated. So the other day, Annie was looking for Mommy and she thought she went to that bathroom. So she jumped on the door to open it and tracked her way through the wet Thinset on the floor. Then, since Annie had not clued me in on what happened, I ended up doing the same thing a little while later .  So now, there are our paw prints cemented in the bathroom floor.  I think Annie and I should sign our names and it will be just like the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
